Domino Printing Sciences (Domino), a global leader in the development and manufacture of coding, marking and digital printing technologies, and with operations in over 120 countries, today announces the appointment of Alberto Sanson as Chief Information Officer.
Sanson’s appointment comes following the retirement of Dick Wallin, who led Domino’s IT team for the past twenty years.

As CIO, Alberto’s responsibilities will include leading Domino’s Information Technology (IT) function as a key member of the Domino Executive Leadership team. An experienced IT leader and with in-depth experience of managing and developing global teams, Alberto has a strong track record in driving strategies to deliver business results.
Alberto joins from Illinois Tool Works, where he held the position of Group IT Director for the company’s $1.7bn Construction Segment. Prior to this, his career has included positions of increasing IT leadership responsibility, in fast-paced, changing, global industrial/technology companies where he demonstrated strong technical and managerial breadth. He has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, a Master’s Degree in Intelligent & Multimedia Systems and an MBA.
