Domino Printing Sciences has reaffirmed its commitment to the digital ink jet print market with €2.2 million investment in a new 3500m² state-of-the-art digital print demonstration centre close to its existing headquarters in Cambridge, UK.
Barry Few, a long-serving Domino employee with more than 30 years’ service cut the ribbon at an opening ceremony on Tuesday 25th February 2014. These facilities will play a significant role in supporting Domino’s growth in the digital Printing field.
Domino Printing Sciences’ Group Managing Director – Nigel Bond – provided insight into the company’s digital ink jet printing heritage and its journey over the last 35 years since it was founded. Philip Easton, Director of Domino’s Digital Printing Solutions Division, then outlined the company’s vision for future growth. A tour of the demonstration facilities followed, with live demonstrations of the company’s K600i, the Bitjet+ v4.5 and Domino’s latest digital 5-colour ink jet label press, the N610i, which was launched at Labelexpo 2013.
