Printing on net and tag

Tags can be made of hardened plastic, or softer, flexible materials, and Domino has coding solutions for both

For artisan styled products, production codes need to be applied to a tag fixed to the net. Our V-Series range of Thermal Transfer Overprint (TTO) coders can print variable data, bar codes and images at 300dpi quality onto flexible packaging films and labels for a wide range of applications. It's the perfect solution for adding source, best before and traceability data to flow wrap packaging, giving consumers the reassurance that produce is being grown on well-managed farms.

Our Ax350i Continuous Inkjet printer is ideal for adding codes to card, plastic and even metal. Using food grade inks, to avoid risk of contaminating the exposed product, the code is easy to apply and quick to dry. It's also secure, meaning it won't be smudged when consumers lift the product by the tag. The Ax350i is also IP66 rated, so it's easy to clean along with the rest of the production line.

Our Automation and Integration Services help make the coding process safer and prevent errors from happening. Domino Automation and Designer, our software tools for centralised label management and automated deployment, are designed to boost your production efficiency: streamline operations and minimise waste.

Using Domino Automation you can create messages centrally and automatically pass them down to all Domino printers on your production.

1) Design and manage labels at a single location: our intuitive label design system enables using a universal interface, keeping training needs at a minimum.
2) Easily manage users and their permissions: security features like Active Directory Integration enable using your existing IT network, and simplify user management.
3) Full audit trail for the management of production changes: version control provides the ability for approval and roll-back procedures.
