About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to work on a remote field-based capacity within a defined geographical area. In this role you will be responsible for developing and expanding key target end users, resellers and OEM sales for our Lake Image range of vision inspection system products for the East Coast region.
In the role you’ll:
 
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities cultivating and maintaining relationships with decision makers through effective relationships, accurate quotes, offering guidance and solutions with the objective to close deals with new and existing clients.
 
  • Join marketing related activities such as trade shows and events, as well as working closely with Lake Image Engineering and other internal teams to enhance product offerings, recommend adjustments to product positioning in the market and needed technical modifications.
 
  • Monitor, review, and report on key metrics and forecast 30-60-90-day opportunities to ensure sales targets are achieved.

About you
You will be a self-motivated, competitive and an ambitious sales leader with capital equipment sales experience within the label, secure print or a related packaging industry. You will have:
  • Business to business sales success having generated circa $1+ million in personal annual revenue.
 
  • Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales, offering both an accurate and articulate value proposition that directly addresses clients’ individual and distinct needs.
 
  • Proficient in territory analysis, able to identify and develop new client and market opportunities with robust business judgement.
 
  • Strong self-management skills and work ethic to drive results independently, aided by your effective multi-tasking and organizational skills, driven to deliver within a fast-paced environment.
 
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time within an assigned territory to cultivate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.

Whilst a candidate with experience selling electro mechanical/ inspection equipment into narrow/wide web, security print, or variable data print would be preferred, we’re open to candidates with a proven track record, with transferable skill and knowledge which would aid them with a successful transition into the industry.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 (based on experience), commission eligible
