The role

Full-time opportunity for a passionate social media specialist. If you’re up to date on social media trends, love the challenge of building an engaged audience, understand how to create scroll-stopping content, and have the drive to create engaging copy – we’re looking for you!

The Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist will report to our Senior Marketing Manager and be part of the Global Marketing team. This person will assist with creating and implementing our global social media strategy. With the assistance of a specialist social media agency, the Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist will plan and brief all content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter and will continue to roll out our global employee advocacy programme. The candidate will need to have an in-depth understanding of social media, the ability to plan out campaigns at least one month in advance with the input of global colleagues and specialist agencies. Sound ability in briefing professional advertising assets in line with the brand guidelines, which tell the Domino story is required. The Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist will coordinate a growing employee engagement training and support programme across the Domino community.

This person will need to work well in a team, effectively manage and plan, use initiative and have the drive to identify opportunities and areas for improvement in our current social media operations. To understand the Domino brand, in-depth research and networking will be required to ensure the visual and tonal values are communicated consistently and effectively across all social media touchpoints.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Curating internal and external content to fit with content themes (UGC, infographics, quotes, audio waves, etc.).
  • Coordinating approval for copy for all social posts.
  • Coordinating with colleagues to align PR, Thought Leadership, blogs, and other content for scheduling on our social media management tool.
  • Creating and scheduling campaigns in line with key holidays, events, and company milestones. Creativity and an eye for trends and topics that excite target audiences and create dialogue are a must.
  • Analysing what is working and optimising content calendars.
  • Driving adoption of our employee engagement programme to develop a two-way conversation between our subject matter experts and our target audience.
  • Coordinating a programme of employee engagement training and support across the Domino community.

Skills required
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience managing social media content in a professional capacity (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Understanding of and up to date on current trends (both in content creation and modes of communicating)
  • Previous use of social media scheduling and reporting tools
  • Experience in working with a social engagement tool to drive a structured uplift in employee engagement
  • Prior experience in leading projects to drive results
  • Experience in turning your expertise and knowledge in social media into face-to-face courses and eLearning
  • Experience in an international B2B role would be advantageous.
  • Passionate and energetic presenter and influencer.
